Barn Conversion

Situated on 5 beautiful acres in the heart of Acadia Parish, the vision for our barn conversion project started back in January of 2023.  In July of that same year, we finally broke ground.  With the expertise of Lafayette architect Lisa Bourque, the old barn that once housed farm equipment was transformed into a stunning home that is rustic, yet refined.  

Utilizing the space of the original structure, the home is now 1900 SF, and includes 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a loft, and a large wrap-around porch.  We added wood beams, lots of windows for natural light, and a wood burning stove. The soothing color palette gives the house a fresh and modern feel, which provides a calm environment for the owners.  After 10 months of construction, the new homeowners have now settled in, and enjoy spending time out on the property's pond, as well as hosting family dinners on the back porch.
